Rehearsals and Joining the Band
If you enjoyed playing an instrument in college or high school band and are interested in playing with the Pacific Coast Concert Band, we welcome you to visit us at a rehearsal. Come and meet with the Band Director Kenneth Bell and your instrument section leader to learn more about the Pacific Coast Concert Band and how to become a member.
The Pacific Coast Concert Band is offered as a performance arts course in the Vista Adult Education curriculum and we welcome new proficient players. We meet on Wednesday nights from 7-9:30 pm at Madison Middle School in Oceanside. Directions
From 78, exit South Melrose Drive and proceed about 1.9 miles, at Ralph's shopping center turn right on Cannon Road, right again on Lake Blvd, the school is soon on the right and has a signal, look for Madison School sign at entrance.
Can also take the 78 east and exit right on College, past Plaza Drive prepare to make a quick left on Lake, proceed approx 2.7 miles to school on left, just past Lake School, look for signal/sign as above.
