Annual Holiday Concert - In Recognition of the Salvation Army
Our December 2007 Holiday Concert held at the Carlsbad Cultural Arts Center, was staged as a fundraiser for the Salvation Army. We were very pleased to be able to make a donation in appreciation of their relief efforts during the October wildfires.

As our honored guest, Captain Dwayne Patterson, representing our local chapter of the Salvation Army gave an inspiring address. We received unexpected and welcomed additional donations at the door; boosting our total donation from concert proceeds.
Program highlights included:
- Dancers from the New West Ballet for Nutcracker
- Dance soloist Lauren Sharp for Bolero
- Soloist Dr. Charles Martyn in the Finale to Tchaikovsky's Violin Concerto in D, as adapted to clarinet solo
- Soloist Don Sharp in Trumpeter's Lullaby
